Libby teaches in a trauma-informed and supportive atmosphere, recognising that everyone who comes to class brings with them their own story, knowledge and lived experiences.
This eight-week women’s self-defence program is designed for every body shape and fitness level, focusing on building strength and confidence in a non-judgmental space. The curriculum is designed to start simply. Once you have gained confidence in your skills, strength and begin trusting your instincts, more complex techniques are gradually introduced. For this reason, we recommend that you take all 8 classes.
By completing this course, you will gain a variety of effective strikes, skills in sensing and preventing danger, and defence techniques you could use in a variety of real-life situations.
